Xenodice, in Greek mythology, was one of the four daughters of King Minos and Queen Pasiphae of Crete. The name comes from two Greek words; Xenos (ξένος) is the foreigner; dice (δίκη) is the justice; So, the meaning of the name is “justice to the foreigner”. The whole villa focuses on the spacious terrace from which you can enjoy spectacular views of the Gramvousa Peninsula.

Villa Xenodice is in the same area as Villa Ariadne, Villa Androgeus, Villa Deucalion, Villa Phaedra, Villa Glaucus, Villa Catreus and Villa Acalle; each maintains its privacy. Villa Xenodice is situated on the highest place of the octet, that’s why it offers the broadest panoramic views on the whole hill; all villas are located on a slope with olive groves of Kissamos with a panoramic sea view. The villa’s complex includes a reception and a private parking area. The distance to the beach is just a short walk away, only 2km.

Inside villa Xenodice

The desire to create a space that would inspire calm and harmony led to this contemporary and peaceful design. Modern lines with verdant green strokes engaged the interior with exterior design. The villa is distributed over two-storey levels, the ground, and the upper level, in an area of 110m². Two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms for each accommodate up to 4 adults.

Ground Floor:

The ground floor contains an open-plan area and a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. The open-plan space has a two-storey high with large windows and sliding glass doors aiming to diffuse natural lighting, creating a bright and elegant atmosphere. White with silver and wooden details, unique hand-picked paintings and pottery from local Greek artists, modern furniture and a fully equipped kitchen with a fancy stand table, are exuded a high-level aesthetic in Villa Xenodice. The bedroom is next to the open-plan area, sharing a double-sided, eco-friendly fireplace in combination with the unstoppable view through the sliding doors in front of the bed, creating a sense of lavishness.

Upper Floor:

Wake up in the morning, and the view is served in front of your eyes!”. The master bedroom is at the top of the villa and is left as a viewing point of the sea through the large sliding glass doors and the windows around. The feeling of softness on the well-known Coco-Mat® mattresses in all bedrooms promises a relaxed sleep experience. You are also able to luxuriate from the marvellous view from your private balcony, which is equipped with patio furniture as well.

Outside villa Xenodice

The exterior focuses on the elongated heated infinity pool (33m², 10m length x3.3m width, depth of 1.1 to 1.6m), which is parallel to the sea and offers an idyllic view. A stylish al fresco dining area next to the swimming pool is covered by a tailor-made pergola providing shade whilst letting the healing sun filter through. So, whether you decide to luxuriate at the inviting exterior dining area or the snug sun loungers, the view will accompany you on every edge of the spacious terrace.
