The name “Gisli” has a Scandinavian origin and means “Ray of Sunshine” which perfectly suits this luxury getaway’s purpose; the guiding idea has been to create a bright, elegant and ethereal atmosphere offering closeness to nature dominated by the unstoppable sea view and diffused sunlight. Villa Gisli blends in harmony the Scandinavian style with the Greek way of living as the ideal choice to unwind and soak up the invigorating sun in a promising summer escape!

Villa Gisli is on the same slope as Villa Apricity, remaining deliciously private. Both can be booked together to accommodate larger groups such as friends and families.

Inside the villa

Villa Gisli gives the impression that it “emerges” discreetly from the earth, the visible masonry being covered with local stone collected during the excavation. So, behind that beautiful stone façade, discover a modern villa distributed over three levels and made up of equally unique and tasteful rooms in an area of 180m². The design echoes mid-century modernism in a delightful atmosphere of white and pastels that recall nature and gain clarity and a sense of space. Villa Gisli can easily accommodate up to eight (8) guests.

Ground Level

The ground floor consists of the common area and one of the four bedrooms. The common area is an open-plan space connecting the kitchen and the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an additional island table for five. On the other hand, the living room has a cosy corner sofa in front of the eco-fireplace and opens onto the outdoor dining and lounge area next to the infinity pool. A convenient storage space and laundry room also ensure that even large families can easily store all their belongings.

The ground bedroom is isolated from the main building with a furnished patio. So, sleep tight, wake up and admire the view like an adorable painting in a window frame for your eyes only!

Upper Floor

On the upper floor is another isolated bedroom with its own entrance and a private terrace. When the sunset comes, luxuriate with a glass of local wine, and surrender to the idyllic sea view as the blue water turns into a lovely peachy orange.

Lower Level

The lower area consists of two semi-underground bedrooms offering coolness during the summer months. The combination of colours and materials and the highly modern architectural design are repeated to lead to continuity with the ground level.

Outside Area

Villa Gisli is surrounded by a spiritual garden with a well-cared olive grove in 1000m². The location is on a greenish slope of Mandraki, an unspoiled area on the South side of Skiathos, offering a captivating sea view. The several pavilions are connected by covered terraces offering many “monkey around” options to stroll from one space to another. The main outdoor part is the private shimmering infinity pool of 35,6m² (8,90 x 4m) concealed by low-slung privacy walls; Villa Gisli is like a watchtower of the sea, thus the unobstructed view on every edge. The sunsets from the exterior of the villa Gisli are remarkably memorable; Fill them in with your powerful moments!
